My name is Adrian Schlesinger, I am a software developer from Arad, Romania.
Once I had the idea of creating a website to showcase species from the Romanian flora, and so spontana.org was born in 2009.
This is the latest version of the website; the previous version in a different format is not maintained anymore, but can still be accessed here: https://spontana.org/old.
Anybody is welcome to contribute, especially with species not yet included in the website.
